Student Spotlight Winter 2012: Arian

Picture
Arian, age 8, is a fabulous dancer and performer and has been dancing since she was 2 years old. Arian loves to dance for many reasons. One is that she loves the spring concerts when she gets to wear a costume and dance on stage. She likes studying at WBC because she feels her teachers motivate her to dance her very best. She plans on dancing throughout her school years and even when she is as old as her mom! When she grows up, she plans on being a veterinarian because it has her name in the title (veterinARIAN). The teachers at Wasatch Ballet love to have Arian in class. “She is always focused and she has beautiful feet and legs!” We are so happy Arian is part of our Wasatch Ballet family!

Summer Spotlight: KARLIE POULTON

Karlie Poulton, age twelve, has been dancing for two years with Wasatch Ballet Conservatory.  She is a delight to have in class, a great friend, and a very talented dancer.
“When I see pictures of professional dancers and videos of them, I want to become like them.  So, when I’m in class, I always want to try my hardest and progress in something in each class.  I want to finish up all the classes at Wasatch Ballet Conservatory then become a professional dancer.”  Karlie’s favorite part of WBC is the “small” atmosphere.  “The whole studio is small, so your class is small, that way your teachers can focus on you.  Also the teachers are amazing!”
Karlie’s talents range far from just dance.  She’d like to be a teacher or a pediatrician when she’s older.  She loves to babysit, help those with special needs, play outdoors, and hang with her friends.   Dance is a fun way for Karlie to exercise and stay busy.  She loves the many friends she has made at Wasatch Ballet.
